Not sure how new this actually is, but it seems to have hit a lot of Dutch companies quickly -

I just heard a bit about this Dorifel malware, which is a form of ransomware, and is apparently hitting Dutch companies pretty hard.
Fabian Wosar just wrote a nice article from Emisoft on August 9 2012 about it, and includes a tool that can aid in cleaning up the infection
(including decrypting Word documents that have been infected).
