Today I was navigating the internet and a pop-up from "Live Security Platinum" appeared. Since 3 weeks ago I experienced a similar problem with the virus Security Shield 2012, I immediatelly followed Bleeping Computer's Removal Guide.

I made it all the way to step 10, and when I press "Unistall/Change" program, nothing happens.

I found a very similar topic in the Forum (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic464360.html )

However I am not sure if I should follow the same steps as that user, and in case I do, if it will work in my computer.

For info: I have Windows Vista.

What should I do?

Edit: Moved topic from Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal
