Hello all,
New here so be kind.
My PC, which is running windows 7 64bit was recently infected with the Adobe flash player update/windows system32 services trojan. After failing to fix it myself i passed it onto a so called expert. He seems to have fixed the trojan but now im having a problem with PC not recognizing the network adapter for a few minutes when switched on and when awakened from sleep mode. I have since found out that combofix was used to remove the trojan. Upon googling this it seems that incorrect use of combofix may be the cause of my connectivity problems. Can anyone offer some help? Thanks.

.
I am not sure what you mean when radio button is switched on after booting? Is that what you mean? Let's take out sleep mode here first.

Thanks for the link

Make and model of computer - self built running gigabyte GA-880G-UD34 MB, AMD Phenom II CPU, Realtek network adapter

How the computer is connected - wired

Make and model of Router - Billion 7401 VGPM

What type of internet you have - DSL

I meant when you switch the PC on or wake it from sleep mode. There is no connection, when i look at the network map it says there is no network adapter. It stays like this for around 3-4 minutes then connects.

Here is the minitox box report when network adapter is working

You have already downloaded MiniToolBox, and Saved it to your desktop and run it.

Just - Checkmark the following box:

List Installed Programs

Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of a new Result.txt will be there with Installed programs listed.

Just Copy / Paste that -

Usually caused by removing QT Task and iTunesHelper from startup in registry via MSConfig.
Removing / reinstalling itunes and quicktime may fix it.

Do you think that this is related to the network adapter issue? I will remove the said items via MSConfig and see what happens. In the meantime,

http://speccy.piriform.com/results/wL7KZqfOjU4eviIjCA7Smuf

Just to add, when i ran the windows network diagnostics it tells me that "windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adapter". And that there might be a problem with the driver for the network adapter. I did install the latest driver but this didnt help.

You have Wired Autoconfig stopped according to your speccy report. Please set it to Manual : http://www.theeldergeek.com/windows_7/service_wired_autoconfig_service.htm
