Hello all, I'm having a problem opening a mdb file from a aldello for restaurants pos program. I keep getting acess denied warning. I'm the only user on the computer. I'm runing ms access from office xp professional. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes when you have a POS system that has Microsoft Access databases, they are protected to prevent people from being able to access the internal code. You may have to contact the people that created the database to grant access to you.

And...Office XP (which I use) is quite old and may not necessarily be compatible with Access/.mdb files produced by later versions of Office.
