ok what i did is that my hard drive messed up big time i had to reinstall the op system. I do not have the drivers cd just the window op cd. Anyways I finished reinstalling the ops system but i am unable to install drivers
for my pc. The main one that i need is the network adapter. I have already gone to the manufactures website and installed the drivers for it using a usb stick since i cant get on the internet with that computer. when i go to the device manager I have a question mark on the eternet controller. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled the driver and still cant get it to work. I cant get the manufacture of the network adapter. I have a gateway with windows xp installed.

how could i get the proper drivers install for it to get it to go to the internet. i also get an error about tcp/ip settings are not config something like that. I tried pulling a static ip address on it and still doesnt work.

Any ideas on how to get it to work.
