I have tried 2 USB KVM switches now

The fault is that I put it to sleep at night, and in the morning I touch the keyboard to switch on - computer comes into life, but no display

The other comp is not on (makes no difference if it is)

I have to manually click the change over switch about 20 times before I get any lasting picture.

When switching to the comp that is on, I hear the USB noises quite a few times, after a while the screen may flicker with the picture, then goes off

Persistance pays off though

I have updated the USB drivers in Vista (now dated Sept 06) and the display drivers to no avail

Strange thing is that at the end of the day, I put it to sleep - if I hit the keyboard within a few minutes - the monitor starts ok.....

Any suggestions ?

Hi, Only one test.

What happens with no KVM switch, Monitor Keyboard and Mouse plugged direct to the computer?

I have tried 2 USB KVM switches now. Different brands of KVM?
