Hello bobdobalina and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. I do not see any signs of viruses or malware in the log. It is clean.

As far as Viewpoint Media Player, you will find many opinions on it. It is used by many companies for viewing their products (like companies which have virtual tours available). If you want to view those items you will need to have it. If not, then you don't.

Many computers today come with Viewpoint preinstalled. Whether that's good or bad depends on your opinion. It does go out and check for updates on its own without telling you about it. That causes some people to dislike it but is it harmful? Probably not.

In any case, I do not see it present here so the point is moot. You are good to go.

Cheers.

I do not respond to PM's requesting help. That's what the forums are here for. Please use them so that others may benefit from your questions and the responses you receive.
