[b]Hello out there! I'm Buckbum and new to this site. I am also much the novice at computer stuff, much less fixing a problem. A friend recommended this site to get a fix to get rid of a virus/worm etc. I think I've found the fix but I can't seem to get past #2. I can't get into Safe mode with networking by tapping the f8 key. Anybody that can help with this. I've restarted and tapped the f8 key probably a dozen times, but the computer continues to restart! Please help!!!!!!

Most computers use the F8 key and you start tapping it repeatedly while the machine is starting after you press the on switch. What is the make and model of your computer and we can verify there isn't an alternative method of getting into safe mode.

The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.
