Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop running Windows XP. For some reason Ports is not appearing in the device manager. Anyone know what it might be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't think an Inspiron 1545 would have any serial or parallel ports to appear - what ports were you looking for?

Platypus,

This may seem like a stupid question, but how can i confirm if it has ports? I always thought all computers came with ports. I purchased this laptop several years ago.
