I own an Asus, about 3 years old My laptop screen/monitor looks dull and not bright. Things are harder to see on it. I have adjusted the brightness and contrast to no avail. I do know my battery is going out on me and will need to buy another one soon. Maybe that is effecting the screen brightness?
