I have an Acer Aspire 5253-BZ660. It was running slow so I reformatted the hard drive. I've used both the recovery discs and the recovery partition and on both when it gets to the Clear.fi program it freezes. I mean I've left the computer on overnight and when I wake up it's still there. I was able once to get out of the erecovery and use Windows 7 but I can't get it to do it again.
Is there anyway I can get out of the erecovery and just use my computer?

I've used both the recovery discs and the recovery partition << I think you should try one or the other and not both - Do they both stall on the same item ?

Hi -
http://www.acer.com/clearfi/download/ << Link for Clear.fi Zip file download if this helps -
You may be able to download the Zip file in Safe Mode with Networking, or transfer it to your Acer with a USB drive -

Good Luck -
