I have encountered a sirefef infection and I can not run FRST.exe because my computer has entered an endless cycle of rebooting when it gets past the windows logo. A message appears saying Windows has encountered a critical error and will shutdown in one minute.

Hello, have you tried accessing the recovery environment by tapping F8 until the Advanced Boot Menu options come up and selecting Repair Windows?

regards, Elise
