So iv been looking for a new headset. I want great sound quality with a decent microphone. (sound > mic) I would like to have digital surround sound which the Sigma has along with its powerful 50MM drivers for bass but people have been telling me the bass can get muddy for the sigmas while the MK2 is good but im not sure if it has DTS support. I do have the X-Fi titanium sound card so i was thinking if i get the MK2 i could just use the sound cards ability to emulate surround sound. Id like to keep the decision between the MK2s and the Sigma. If anyone can compare the Tactic 3D Sigma to the Alpha please do.

Any help is appreciated.

It's all user preference...totally subjective, IMO.

If I had any doubt about such...I would just go to the nearest store/stores which stocked my options...put the headset on...and make my choice.
