Hi Guys, I've just bought a Toshiba AT100 android touch tablet for aged mother in law. She has macular degeneration and parkinsons so has problems with both eyesight and ability to distinguish between a tap and a push motion. I purchased the device largely so she can read (boy those kindles are tiny- yes you can change print size , but not the menu print size - weird). Anyway my idea was for her to use a logitech wireless mouse with the tablet. The problem is that the mouse pointer is tiny. If it was a pc I could change the size and colour, but I cannot find out anywhere how to increase the size of the mouse pointer with this android tablet. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Tad

I don't see a way. Under settings > language and input > mouse I only see pointer speed.

I've seen a few unverified comments related to using an external mouse creating the ability to resize. You might want to look into that. Other than that I don't know of a way to change the cursor size. You might want to see if someone at XDA has a hack, but most of the time those require root access so that may be a nonstarter for you anyway.

Thanks for your input Animal, my next idea is to see if there is something like CursorFX for android, which I believe gives you the ability to change properties of your mouse. I'm not sure if something like that would even work with android, but will endeavour to find out,

Cheers
