Thank you Broni, and I am probably being overly paranoid but the link for security check looks a bit unusual. What exactly is it suppose to look like? I mean whose name is it? I am off today and have all day to run your suggestions.

You don't think I'd try to harm your computer in any way, do you?

All tools are perfectly safe.

The decision is yours.

I don't see much there.

Which browser is getting redirected?

===========================

You're running two AV programs, CenturyLink™ Online Security and AVG.
You must uninstall one of them.
If AVG use AVG Remover: http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities

I am not sure why AVG is still showing, I uninstalled it yesterday because Centurylink would not install until I did. It is not in my program list but will use your link to be sure it is.
Firefox is the browser I am using, getting redirected from my homepage on there google.com. It hasn't happened now in a couple of days BUT now google's suggestions for whatever I am searching are .en or .au??

Run AVG Remover from my previous reply to remove AVG leftovers.

Please check if IE is getting redirected as well.
