I downloaded and ran Combofix. It installed the recovery console, then started scanning. It identified rootkit.zeroaccess as being present. I ran combofix again just to make sure the problem was corrected. Unfortunately, I'm getting the same error message again that rootkit.zeroaccess is present. I'm using Windows XP.

Thanks,
Ajith

Yes. I used combofix and I don't get the chrome message anymore, but I do receive the rootkit.zeroaccess message. I would like to delete my old post, but can't figure out how.

Thanks,
Ajith

There is no need to delete the old topic as that will drop you back down the queue. I will close this topic and someone will be along soon to help on the original topic. The current backlog is about 4 days.

Good luck.
