GamesBar is a free toolbar (add-on) for Internet Explorer distributed by Oberon Media that provides access to various free online games like Pogo and IPlay - see GamesBar enhanced for Pogo FAQ and GamesBar for IPlay FAQ.
Some security programs may classify it as Adware.Gamesbar because it displays advertising banners and annoying popups.

Many toolbars, Add-ons, screensavers, and weather monitoring programs come bundled with other software and can be the source of various issues and problems to include Adware. They usually can be removed via Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features in Vista/Windows 7, so always check there first.
