Everytime I turn on my dell 4000 computer (with Windows XP), I have to reinstall a driver to hear sound (I got the file to reinstall off of the dell site.)

Does anyone know what the problem may be as to why i have to reinstall this everytime I boot up my computer?

Any suggestions without having to wipe the computer clean and reinstalling windows?

hen you reinstall the drivers are they on disk or on the hard drive? If you use a disk, is it the XP disk or the disk provided with the hardware?
