My computer was previously infected with Trojan.sirefef and I decided to do a factory restore and my computer is back to normal. However, I did back up a lot of the data on an external drive and would like to make sure it is clean. What steps should I take to do this?

On my computer I currently have BitDefender total security, adobe is up to date, java is up to date, and security updates are up to date.

Let me know what needs to be done and I can get back to you with logs and whatever else may be necessary.
