hello
i removed avast but could not run aswclear: it says that is not a valid win32 application
installed MSE

Hello,

Any change in your system without Avast installed?

tried to install SP1 , took for ever , and failed


Here is a description of the System Update Readiness Tool. Have a read, download and run the x86 Windows 7 version here, then try SP1 again.

seems better without avast butnot enough testing....crossing fingers
will tyr again SP1 installation

it took for ever but i managed to install SP1.
No crashes so far

hello
and thanks for helping
I have another problem that i think is not connected with the previous one: very often when i use google chrome browser i get the message "A plug in is not responding (shockwave flash) . Sometime i wait and it goes away. Most of the times i have to stop the plug in.
could you help on this?
