Hiya, I'm currently attempting to use Combofix with the assistance of one of the staff here, and I'm curious to know if this has happened before.

When I start running Combofix, it goes through the installation process normally, but nothing happens at all after that. It's like it just stops itself right before or after the installation is finished. I've even tried renaming it and running it in Safe Mode, but it still has the same problem. Is this related to the fact that my OS is a Windows Vista 64-bit system, or is it something else entirely?

Just a quick note Combofix does not install. It's diagnostic tool that opens a command prompt, does it's job then finishes. Should not matter if it's a 64 bit or not. Like noknojon said you should keep all replies to the helper and refrain from posting anywhere else until you are declared all clean. :)
