GFX - Radeon HD 6850
RAM - 2x2GB at 1333z
OS - Windows 7 64 bit - Ultimate

Motherboard *New* - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131767

Hello and Welcome -

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.
Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.
Bug check 124 is hardware. Use these to identify and fix.
Generic "Stop 0x124" Troubleshooting Strategy:

Thank You -

Thanks for the post, I'm no longer receiving BSOD's after getting all the required drivers. I'm still receiving random pixelated screen of death.

- Usually only happens when a game is open
- GPU Driver is up to date
- Screen randomly creates a weird pixelated screen efect
- Freezes the computer (Requires a System reboot)
- Occurs usually 1-7 Hours
- Nothing is overclocked
- Worked fine in older motherboard

I'm not sure what to do next. the only things I can think of are:

- Do a clean install
- Clean dust out
- Reinstall the driver and or rollback to an older version

Hi,

My name is Debbie.

I am sorry to hear about various issues with your system; First thing I can suggest you to run Hardware Diagnostics on your system. If you don’t get any error in the diagnostics then I will suggest you to either to do system restore or can even prefer clean Operating system Installation which will fix all these issues with your system.

Please reply in case you have any questions.

Thanks & Regards
Debbie_B
