While trying to download Slender, a download manager stuck Babylon onto my pc.

I removed it using add/remove
I removed it from chrome's options

it was still there.

Following advice online I managed to delete chrome off my pc, and went to clean the registry. Turned out the program the guy suggested cost $50 :(

So i'm forced onto IE, where babylon has also appeared, and now I cannot get chrome to re-download.
I did a program search for all files made today and tried to delete the abylon one, to no effect.

I;ve run AVG but it;s not found anything.

can somebody please help :(

Babylon is not a virus but rather a nuisance.

Open IE, go Tools>Internet options>Advanced tab and click on "Reset" button.
Restart IE and see how it goes.

Download Autoruns for Windows: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
No installation required.
Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
Go File>Save, and save it as AutoRuns.txt file to know location.
You must select Text from drop-down menu as a file type:
