I am looking to buy a new graphics card but nothing big, I just need it for games like The Sims 3, Alan Wake, Portal 2 etc.

Here is the one I'm looking at: Graphics Card

Here is my computer specs: eMachine ET1161
CPU: AMD Athlon Duel Core Processor 4050e, 2100 MHz, 2.10GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co. M61PME-S2P
Ram: Samsung DDR2 1GB x 2
Storage: Hitachi HDT721032SLA SCSI 320GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 128MB
Soundcard: Realtek High Definition Audio

Will that card work? Or any suggestions on a better one in that price range?

All of those will work. Use caution however, you need a strong enough power supply to use these cards. When the specs list 300W, they mean 300W with a quality PSU. eMachines doesn't exactly spend the cash to get quality parts. If the PSU cannot provide enough power, you will have issues.

I actually had the original PSU replaced because it was fried along with the motherboard during a storm but I will check the wattage. Thanks for the help!

The 5550 would be the fastest out of the pack but i recommend this card as it is a pretty decent low end graphics card for gaming.
