Hello....when i click on the download link all i get is the regedit4 file opened by notebook, instead of a download command as i got with the smitRem download. is that what i'm suppose to get?

please help

i must apologize for the dumb question i posted. upon closer reading i answered my question and began the process, and it worked. i was able to rid the infection. Sorry for wasting anybody's time.
