I am trying to use a 64 GB usb stick. When I put the stick into a USB port, it shows up on my computer, but when I click it to open, it asks to insert a disk in the drive. How can I correct this? Thanks.

Have you tried restarting computer with the flash drive already inserted? The most obvious one would also be trying it on another PC. See also here.
