I just install Ubuntu from my pc, and A hard disk is detecting health problems always appears but I still manage
to continue. Then it appears on the box
This computer has no detected OS. What would you like to do.It's either Erase disk and install Ubuntu or Something else which you can resize partitions yourself. Either of the two whenever of the choice of device I choose,it says No root file system is defined. Please correct this from the partitioning menu. Now I'm stuck!

The hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Attempting to install Ubuntu (or anything else) on a failed hard drive is not likely to produce a satisfactory result.
