Computer Shuts Down by itself

Hello all.
I recently built a computer and it seemed to work well for a couple weeks. Now it shuts itself down for no reason and not properly just like someone pulled the plug.

I tried removing the video card and running on board video on the thoughts that this was overloading something and the same thing. Tried booting in safe mode trying to check for software issue and same thing. I have front,back,side and top fans plus proc fan video card fan and power supply fan all working.

Proc: AMD Phenom II x4 955 3.2 GHz
Mobo: Foxconn A7DA-S 3.0
Ram: 2x 4GB dual channel 1333MHZ DDR3
P.S. 1050 Watt ATX (Not sure brand)
H.D. Western Digital 320G + 500G
O.S. Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Video Ati Radeon HD5770 1024M GDDR5

Any Help or Ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am more leaning towards the power supply but don't want to buy a new one if that is not the problem.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Hi. and thanks for your response.
I was able to download mini toolbox and email the results to myself before it shut down.
I am replying from a different pc but will go on other and see if i can stay on long enough to get speccy.

Hi again.
I tried fix it and it says it took the fix but didn't help the problem.
I also tried booting from the windows disc and set it up to restore from system image on other hard drive but did not execute to see what would happen and the thing shut down.
I would guess that this would eliminate the operating system and any virus or malware.
I did notice on the specs that the -12V on the motherboard was -5.2V.
I don't know what these different voltages control but I would say that was too far out of spec.
all temps seem to be 38 to 42 degrees C, which should be within tolerance.
I guess I will try replacing the power supply and see what happens.

Hi, Try this

Go into the Bios to the hardware monitor and leave it on that page, keep an eye on voltages and temperatures and leave it there. If it shuts off there when no software has been loaded then it is for sure a hardware issue.

Easiest test I can think of.

Hi again.
I tried while running bios and still shut down.
I just tried replacing power supply and is still running.about an hour and a half so far.
I think has taken care of the problem and I finally have my new PC running.
I appreciate everyones help. I learned a lot about trouble shooting during all this.
