Ran Combofix and something went wrong. Buddy gave me combofix with tutorial to address virus problem. I ran combofix and something went awry.

Help would be very much appreciated. I tried to uninstall combofix to undue changes without success. Unable to start any apps or IE

Unfortunatly I found this site AFTER I foolishly ran Combofix.

Attached is the combofix log

Hi,

what is the error message you're getting? Have you tried rebooting the system?

The last thing you want to do in such a situation is to uninstall ComboFix. This will kill all your chances of recovering whatever ComboFix may have done. This is one of the reasons why we say that ComboFix should not be run unsupervised: The malware techs here have been trained to handle ComboFix and know what to do to recover when things go wrong. Running it on your own, you may be missing the necessary information or data we need to help you to recover.
