Hello folks, so here's the deal:

1.5 weeks ago while using itunes my Thinkpad Edge E520 laptop slowed down, then BSOD with Kernel Power Error 41. When I brought it back up, and tried to restart itunes, it told me that the library file was corrupt, and it had to create a new one. I googled around, found that it might be a failing hard drive, and backed up all my data.

So what I'm wondering is: is it really a failing hard drive? Can I act while my computer's still working to order and install a new hard drive?

Thanks for any help!
