So every time I try to render a video lately it's been telling me my system is low on memory. This is impossible on all accounts seeing as how my hardrive has 139GB of free space and I have 6GB of RAM in my machine.

Here's my specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM

During a render I've never even seen it spike my computer up to 3 gigs of usage, so I'm clueless as to why it's giving me this crap.

Edit: Feel free to post a reply, but I've been noticing some other problems with the computer lately. I think I may just move to the "Windows 7" or "Am I Infected?" boards again.

Edit 2: I gave Vegas administrative privileges and this time the render worked. I'm a bit new to windows 7, but now I'm assuming that without said privileges a program cannot fully access the systems memory capacity. Am I correct?
