Hello,

I've got a major trojan and I need to reformat my computer. Even my e-mail is hacked. So I would like to save my inbox and contacts in Outlook but am having no luck with the autoarchive. Anyway, I'll need to move the files to a backup hard drive and then try to import them back into the new installation of Office 2007. Can someone please direct me if this is possible?

Thanks,

~Dan

All of your email information (Contacts, emails, etc.) is stored in your Personal Storage file.
If you locate and back this file up, you should be able to import it into the new install of Office to retain all your information.
Depending on your configuration and OS, Microsoft has a guide here.

Thank you. I'll give it a look.
