I want a gesturing, moving, talking onscreen character who can respond to speech (microphone) and mouse input. I read somewhere that a fellow programmed one of these onscreen characters to read his email for him with that weird electronic, not quite human voice. There is a MSagent program that came on my computer and more info at Microsoft and various other sites about programming one of these characters. I reviewed a lot of that info but don't quite get the big picture. There is a free platform SDK download available from MS, but haven't got it. Don't know what to do with it.

I want to know how to do this. Anyone out there know or know someone who does or a forum on MSagent that I could contact?

Would a different forum be better suited to address this question? ???

Interesting Technology. I would like to learn more about this as well. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I found this web site: http://webxtractions.com/agent/Main.htm and notice that there is a web ring control at the bottom of the home page, so you can surf to other related pages.

Have fun!
