Heard about this place a couple of months ago from a co-worker at a former helldesk job I escaped from 10 years ago. Never had anything particularly useful to contribute, so I scribbled the address on a Post-It, and went back to my day job.

I have been removed from IT for the past eight years except as a user and a casual tinkerer. Gone are the days where I knew my OS' registry like the back of my hand. Win7 annoys and confounds me, which is why I have joined this group. Family members still hand me DOA laptops to resurrect, I don't know why, I am out of my element with this new stuff. I offer an exchange: what's left of my fading knowledge of legacy systems for help with these bleeping new-fangled boxen.

Hello from Humid New Jersey,LOL!

Welcome,I am sure you will be able to find and exchange ideas on both the older and the soon to be older again OS's.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
