Hail, Cool People;
Thank you for this amazing resource.
I'm an artist currently ambushed by some unrecognizable yet outrageously persistent malware(s).
(Horrible timing, as I'm about to turn in my thesis/grant proposal.)
I happened upon the forums, and now I at least know how to proceed to seek help. (beats crying myself to sleep!)
Off to the appropriate category now.
