Did you run either in Safe Mode, with system restore disabled?
Are you sure you mean "heal" and not "quarantine" or "delete" them?
The reason I asked, is that to heal means to remove the virus and restore it to its orginal form. There are some viruses that create copies of themselves, and these cannot, obviously, be healed---they can be deleted or quarantined.

Cheers,
John

I can understand that, Coxor. Who wants 100's of bogus CRAP files on the PC? Besides, you need anti-malware programs to run in addition to the anti-virus ones you've already run. Read more here.

So, it'll take a while. We can almost always eliminate the individual files that are in there with your good oneswithout losin' any good ones! The links within the OS that make'em come back, too. You need to post a hijackThis log so we both can see what's goin' on. Each PC is different. Sometimes it takes 3 steps to do it, sometimes it takes 18.

You can get a jump-start by doing these steps first:

Please follow these steps in order to clean your computer of Malware which can include Viruses, Trojans, Worms, Spyware, Hijackers and Dialers.

Step 1:
Download Spybot and Adaware from the following locations and install them. You should run both programs and clean up what it finds. This is to guarantee that you find the most malware you can installed on your computer.

Before running the scans on both programs, it is mandatory that you update the programs. There are update options in each program when you run them.

Spybot

Ad-aware

If you would like to learn more about how to use these two programs with the proper settings you can read the tutorials below:

Using Ad-aware to remove Spyware, Malware, & Hijackers from Your Computer.

Using Spybot - Search & Destroy to remove Spyware, Malware, & Hijackers from Your Computer.

When you scan with both programs, fix everything that it finds.

When you are done with the scan and fixing the items. Please continue with the next step.

Step 2:

It is important that you run Spybot and Adaware before you proceed with this step. Fixing enties with Hijackthis may leave behind unwanted files on your computer if the previous step was not done first.

Create a folder on your C:hardrive to save HijackThis.exe in. A directory like c:hijackthis, or C:HJT. If you do not do this, you will not be able to use the backup/restore features this program makes and needs it's own folder to automatically put them into.

Download HijackThis from:

HijackThis Download Site

Save this file into the directory you made previously and then run the program. Click on the Scan button and when it is finished click on the Save Log button. A Notepad window will open with the contents of this log. Click on Edit then click on Select all. Then click on Edit and then Click on Copy.

Create a reply to this post at the HJT log analysis section, so we can spot it among all the others and right click in message area and select paste to paste the log into the post.

Someone will reply to you after reading this post. DO NOT fix any entries unless you understand what you are doing.

To see a tutorial on using HijackThis you can click on the link below:

Using HijackThis to Remove Spyware, Browser Hijackers, and Dialers

We'll get on it quickly, but the steps taken... figurin' out exactly the right ones, that we want you to do... takes a while. Figure maybe 48 hours. Give or take.
:trumpet: BTW using system restore may be good, maybe not. Sounds like you could read this winXP system restore tutorial and it'll mention options. Remember that makin' your Windows go back in time doesn't mean losing all the data files you've built since the older date. Some things, like program installs do go away, but check it out. Post again, we'll help. :flowers:
