Motherboard Problem

Okay heres my problem,I just recently started trying to rebuild computers,I keep running into the same problem,I cannot get my computer to beep at start up everything is running but no beeps or video,so I bought 2 new motherboards and a new cpu,installed the new board with new cpu,same outcome no beeps,I figured either my old board or cpu was bad so i bought both to makesure I would fix problem,but nothing different happened,any suggestions would be great.

Do you have a different video card you can try? Are the CD, floppy, and hard drive lights coming on?

I bought 2 motherboards both with intergrated video,I have both hooked up right now one has an amd 950 cpu the other has a amd 1700xp they are both doing the same thing no post or beeps,this was the problem I was having before,thats why i bought new stuff figured the cpu was bad or the motherboard,but no change with new stuff,I know ps is good,checked ram good,don't now what else to do,any suggestions

Have you tested your PS? Some PS have a low voltage shut off to protect your electronics.

I don't know forsure how to test a ps,but I have 3 different ones sitting here,500w 350w 250w all of them came out of working computers,surely all 3 haven't gone bad

Did not know that. You are correct. The chances are slim that they have all gone bad.

Have you tested your monitor? Check the sub-D connector to see if the pins are straight.

I looked the pins appear to be fine,will the computer post with out the monitor being hooked up,I figured it would beep whether the monitor was hooked up or not,its probably a dumb question but I'm new at this.It just doesn't make any since why 2 computers are doing it if it was one if it was one i could understand but 2,sure is frustrating

What kind of beep? Does your computer make beeps? It should not beep without the monitor.

No it makes no beeps at all,I am going to hook them up to the monitor i am using now and see if any change

Try the monitor I am on still no beeps
