Hello,

I have a few issues with the main one involving my screen. Currently, as i use my computer every few minutes my screen will distort into extreme brightness and 8-bit or just bizarre colors. I can still make out the start bar. If i click on a different tab on the start bar or hit my windows key my screen will automatically fix itself. A few minutes later the issue returns. I don't believe this happens if i have a VGA cable connecting to my TV (using the tv as a monitor). Is this driver, dieing graphics card or something else?

Another screen issue is that i can no longer adjust my brightness. It seems to work initially but then revert immediately back to a slightly darkened state.

Other issues: using the touch pad makes mouse jump to top-right corner relatively often, need to use USB mouse to avoid jump. In general, just starting to operate slowly.

This laptop is 6 years old, and HP Tablet Compaq tc4200. Haven't had any major issues until the screen problem began about a month ago.

Anyone know a fix so i don't have to go laptop shopping?

Thanks,

Bill
