--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, I've been communicating with a tech support guy about a problem I've been having with a game I recently bought. He basically told me the problem is with my video card (or driver, I'm not really sure what the difference is). This isn't the first time I've had these types of problems, so I'm pretty sure my card is out of date. However, I wanted to get answers to a couple of questions before I go buy something I can't use.
1. What exactly is the difference between my video card and my driver?
2. Can I simply update the one I have right now? If so, how?
3. If I can't update, where should I look for a new one?
4. How will I know if the new one is compatible with my computer, or this particular software?

I'm really quite confused about this, so if anyone could help me out I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks so much.

BTW, my computer is an HP Pavillion ze5200, and my video card is a Radeon IGP 345M

I found a link that may clear up some of your questions. If it does not help please post back.

Thanks for the link, but I couldn't really find anything about the video card. I'm still a little confused, so if you know anything else I could do, I would appreciate it. Thanks

I found another link. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...c=en&rule=52366

You could also download and reinstall the drivers. They may have become corrupted...
