Hello,

Do you also have Kazaa installed? Because I see the Bestoffers (or at least leftovers) present.
Kazaa installs malware with it, so in case you have it installed, uninstall it via start > controlpanel > software > add/remove programs
Normally this also uninstalls The BestOffers automatically. In case it doesn't, look in your add/remove programs if The Best Offers is still present and uninstall it as well.

Concerning the SpyFalcon popup, let's see first if you are dealing with the old or the new version, so perform next:

I need to get an export of the files being started via the SharedTaskScheduler registry key.

Please download the following file and save it to your desktop:

getsts.exe

Once it has downloaded, please double-click on the file, which should now be on your desktop. When the program is finished, it will create a text file on your desktop called getsts.txt and open it in notepad.

Please post the contents of this notepad as a reply to this topic.

By the way, I see you are running Teatimer.
I suggest you to disable it because it can interfere with the changes you'll make on your system.
When everything is done and your log is clean again, you can enable it again.
If teatimer gives you a warning afterwards that some changes were made, allow this instead of blocking it.
How to disable TeaTimer during HijackThis Cleanup
Then, Download ResetTeaTimer.bat.
Double click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer.

Ok, let's deal with this now.

* Open hijackthis, click 'config' (bottom right)
Choose the tab 'misc Tools' on top.
Choose 'delete a file on reboot'
In the field, copy and paste next:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ginuerep.dll

Click open.
Hijackthis will tell you that this file will be deleted on next reboot and if you want to reboot now. Click Yes/ok
Your system must reboot now.

After reboot, Open notepad and copy and paste next bold from the quotebox in it:
(don't forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4)

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]
"{C9FA1DC9-1FB3-C2A8-2F1A-DC1A33E7AF9D}"=-

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{C9FA1DC9-1FB3-C2A8-2F1A-DC1A33E7AF9D}]

Save this as fix.reg Choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
It should look like this: Posted Image
Doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.

I see traces of RXtoolbar also present. Could be leftovers. But it's better to doublecheck if the program is still present in software > add/remove programs. In case it is, uninstall it.

Reboot.

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {4da4616d-7e6e-4fd9-a2d5-b6c535733e22} - (no file)

O16 - DPF: {1D6711C8-7154-40BB-8380-3DEA45B69CBF} -

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

Delete next folders if still present:

C:\Program Files\RXToolBar
C:\Program Files\TBONBin
C:\Program Files\SpyFalcon

Post a new hijackthislog in your next reply and let me know if those Spyfalcon popups has been stopped

And I see a clean log again.

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

* Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.
* Don't click on links inside popups.
* Don't click on links in spam messages claiming to offer anti-spyware software; because most of these so called removers ARE spyware.
* Download free software only from sites you know and trust. Because a lot of free software can bundle other software, including spyware.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Housecall and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
