Hello,

I am currently using Windows 7. Outlook has stopped working. It asks me to Open in safe mode & I click yes but it still does not work. Then it attempts to "repair" but it always just shuts off.

Any help would really be appreciated. I don't know what else to do. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. The "Outlook" folder does not appear. Also, I tried the following step but when I type
"outlook.exe /resetnavpane" in the Start bar - it just does a search and says that it can't find my items.

I should add that it's not finding Outlook.exe anymore either....and says "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed". Does this mean Outlook was accidentally deleted???

Am I typing in the wrong location? The start bar is the windows button right? Pardon me for my lack of knowledge

if a search for outlook.exe (whole computer)turns up nothing then maybe it was deleted. i think if you go to uninstall programs in control panel and try to uninstall office it will give you the option to repair. you may need the office disk.

Thank you. I went to Control Panel and clicked "Change" for "Microsoft Home & Office 2010" and said "yes" to the repair. Then the open window just closed. I tried opening OUtlook again and the same thing happened. Is there anything else I can do????

Hi Caperdog,

Thank you so much for all of your help. I *just* finished fixing this issue. My other programs were working and I just ended up reinstalling it. I still have no idea what happened. I had a ZeroAccess virus and tried deleting some .pf files but not sure if that affected it or not...

I don't know how to close posts. Thank you again so much!

glad you got it.
That dam virus seems to leave issues after removal. check to see if your firewall is still running. others have had trouble with windows defender not working.

Hello,

I can't find my files on my network anymore. When I click to connect to it it says "Network & File Sharing are turned off" I "click" to change it but it still stays off.

I don't know what else to try. I have Windows 7.

I thank you in advance for taking the time to help me.

I've merged your posted topics and moved single topic to Am I Infected forum. Please...do not create any new topics about your issues, the personnel in AII will try to assist you with the system issues.

Thanks for understanding :).

Thanks Hamluis - sorry I didn't know how to close a topic - I'd mentioned it in the previous post. I don't think I'm having virus issues anymore but am still having the networking issue.

I appreciate your help in merging the topics! Is there something I can do if no one replies?
