Ive recently decided to dive back into PC gaming since I have more free time. Which mean, I need to upgrade.

First on my list is a HD6950.

My question is, will my 650watt powersupply be enough to power this card? I dont want to kill my motherboard due to an underpowerred card.
I have a PhenomII x3 and 2x DDR3 G.Skill sticks of ram installed in the computer. The mobo is pretty standard.

If I do need to upgrade, how much power should I look for? Id like to keep it under 850watts if at all possible.

As long as you have a decent 650 watt PSU, you are golden. I would be really, really surprised if that rig pulled more than 350 watts total with a 6950.
