Printer: DocuCentre-II C3000 (Now Plugged)
Router: TL-R860 (Now Plugged)
Wireless Router: TL-WR340G (Now Unplugged)
ISP: PCCW

Yesterday I tried to replace my friend's router (TL-R860) with a wireless router (TL-WR340G) but the connection became unstable so it had to be reverted back to the old non-wireless router. However, the printer has stopped functioning properly even after the plugs were back to their original position.

Is the printer wire or wireless

Does it have the same SSID as the old router when you plug in the new router

Sometimes the router will have a different IP so you will have to restart the printer to obtain a different IP address (if its a wireless printer)

Is it Static or DCHP setup

If its DCHP assgin it as a static IP

192.168.1.3
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1

How far away is it from the printer to the router. If its not wirless. It could be the cable length of cat 5e is 100m (MAX) 328 feet with prefect terminations

It could be the print spooler
