Router dropping WAN ip then 3mbit instead of 12.. wtf

Modem: Zyxel grey Telia ISP
Router: Asus N56U firmware 1.0.8f , .g is newest but doesnt change anything related to what im using.

Days working just fine, @ night:
1. Router dropping WAN IP
2. turning Modem off ~10min then on
3. Router getting WAN , but then bandwith is ~3mbit... usually ~13mbit


any clues on wtf is happening there?

Solved! Installed Opensource Firmware since their own did suck hard..

Glad you solved it. It could have been a setting that was incorrect that was corrected with the setup of the new firmware. I personally have had good luck using dd-wrt however it does void your warranty.
