My laptop has blue screened twice since last night. I've been getting an svchost.exe warning from Malwarebytes for a while now, but I thought it was a false positive. A small Adobe ® Flash ® Player Installer bar has been popping up without any action from me. I've been closing it every time. The computer is running hot even though I don't have anything except Chrome open. Random advertising tabs are opening up in Chrome now. I was in the middle of updating my Microsoft Security Essentials definitions when the last crash occurred. Please help!

I would suggest you open a thread in malware to handle that first.

When that is settled come back to this thread (or start a new one) about the BSODS.

One thing that might get things done faster is to do a clean install. Consult with the Malware guru's first.

Above all make a back up Just in case.
