How to create a recovery disk on a Asus UX31E?

Hi all, can I jump in and ask how a recovery disc is made for my new Asus UX31E when obviously there is no DVD drive. The inbuilt tutorial has no info

You will need either an external USB CD Drive or a USB Stick 16gb or bigger.

Click start, then in the search box type recovery, look for recovery creation or recovery disk, click on it.

In the window you should see create recovery disks, choose usb stick or DVD (if you have an external DVD Drive).

Thanks Herg, I went down that track and then found error messages. Basically I cannot backup at all and Im thinking it may be that there is only 5gb space left on hard disk after loading up only a few programs (printer drive, office, pdf nitro, etc) I've sent a note to the Asus tech people but of course, no reply yet :-I
