hey

i want to remove Internet explorer for good. how do i uninstall it?

You can't completely remove internet explorer? I uninstalled internet explorer 9 but it says i can still use previous version of internet explorer.

That is correct. IE cannot be removed. If you uninstall IE9 it will roll back to IE8.

You cannot uninstall Internet explorer but you can disable IE 8

IE is needed for a lot of MS services, like MS-Update...
A lot of other applications (Steam to name one) need IE and it's protocols to work properly.

If you install another browser, and set this to be your standard browser, IE will only run when needed by other applications, just saying...
