Every time I open internet explorer, before it loads my homepage it comes up with a url that I do not recognize, it looks like some sort of spyware. It loads this url first: res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/navcancl.htm

Hi Mary-Nicole and welcome to Bleeping. :thumbsup:

There's nothing untoward in your HJT log from what I can see.

We'll try and repair IE's search defaults for you to see if it solves the problem.

Right-click here and select Save as...

Save the reg file to your desktop and then CLOSE IE.

Double-click RepairIE4XP.reg and confirm you wish to add the contents to your registry when prompted.

Reopen IE and let me know if the problem is solved. :flowers:
