Having a very difficult time typing on my Dell R17 Inspiron laptop (even now). The cursor jumps around to other typed words or right off the page. Sometimes the web-site ends up starting over. I've had my PC checked for viruses in the Virus, Malware forum.

Were you clean and referred here by the Malware experts and ruled out possibly a hardware problem? Have you tried running a clean boot or safemode?

I tried the clean boot -- at first it didn't appear to be successful. However, selecting to load all services and programs, after clean boot seemed to fix the problem. I can type anything quickly wiithout anymore jumping around of the cursor. I must have had a service or program disabled (which one I do not know). I have since been adjusting the start programs via ccleaner, advance system care, and msconfig.

Thanks for your help.
