I've got USB 2.0 hardware in my desktop, and a 2GB USB 2.0 flash-drive. I bought it new a few months ago, and it was fast when I got it. Recently I formatted it, and now it's just ridiculously slow! I just move 12 MB of data and it took 9 minutes. This is typical! The other day I used it to copy a movie that took up almost the entire flash-drive. It took like 50 minutes to copy to the drive, and another 50 minutes to copy to my buddy's computer!
